He graduated from the Gazi Faculty of Education Department of Arabic Language Teaching in 1988. In 1922, he completed his master’s degree at Gazi University Social Sciences Institute. He became a research associate in the Gazi Faculty of Education Department of Arabic Language Teaching in 1994. In 1996, he conducted studies at Cairo University. He completed his postgraduate study at Gazi University Social Sciences Institute in 1998. He became an assistant professor in 2001 and associate professor in 2002 at Gazi University. In the 2003-04 academic year, he worked as a visiting professor at Jordan University. He also worked as Deputy Director at Gazi University Institute of Education Sciences between 2010 and 2011 and Director in the Institute of Education Sciences between 2012 and 2013. He was assigned as the Rector of Turkey part in Hoca Ahmet Yesevi International Kazakh-Turkish University between 2013 and 2014. He conducted scientific studies in America between January 2015 and May 2015. He has many publications on Arabic language teaching, Arabic literature, old Turkish literature, and Turkish culture history.
