Lecture Series

“The TABIP Lecture Series” is a collection of academic and scientific activities in many scientific areas with a great staff of motivated team to excite the students and academicians about academic and scientific developments.

The students who will attend the lectures will be immersed in academic activities and conduct hands-on investigations within these lecture series.

All of our events focus on the understanding of the importance of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.

Our lectures will have hands-on activities for students and in these academic & scientific areas. Through the activities, students will learn fascinating stuff from the academicians and scientists who are specialized in their areas, improve their observation skills, build curiosity, explore the different concepts of different academic and scientific areas.

TABIP Summer Academy

The TABIP Summer Science Academy is a program for undergraduate and graduate students from all over the world; who are interested in natural and applied sciences and would like to get a practical insight into the working areas of prestigious companies of Turkey from various sectors.

Within the framework of the TSA, every summer up to 20 students from all over the world particularly talented in natural and applied sciences are offered the possibility of gaining first insights into the world of science and technology during 3 – 4 weeks of practical training under the supervision of scientists and, at the same time, get to know Turkey.

The idea behind the TABIP Summer Science Academy is to promote the globalization of science and knowledge by connecting international students with prestigious Turkish companies. Within the scope of this program, while the companies find the opportunity to discover new talents from all over the world, the students will have the chance to attend the training sessions and get to know the leading companies of Turkey.

TABIP PoCFP Fellowship Program

TABIP plans to appoint fellows as part of our “Point of Contact Fellowship Program (PoCFP)” with the required qualifications. Submit an application if you are an international PhD student. PoCFP for PhD students allows you to carry out long-term goals. Applicants can be native or international but should live in a country other than the Republic of Turkey. PhD students, and also Post-Doc researchers, of all nationalities and disciplines may apply to the “Point of Contact Fellowship Programme” at any time. The PoCFP grants 10 fellowships per year. PoCFP offers you a monthly allowance of 1000 EUR, for a maximum duration of 10 months, renewable annually.

1. Currently do a PhD or be a Post-Doc researcher in a university

2. No restrictions to travel

3. Be able to speak at least two languages, including a good command of English

4. Currently living in a country other than the Republic of Turkey

5. Be a young researcher, ages 23-40

6. At least one year of professional experience at the time of application

7. Have a track record of making an impact in their community, organisation or company

We will confirm your application by e-mail once received. After the application has been checked to ensure that it meets the formal requirements, applicants will be notified about the selection. If required, our responsible team may need to make an online audition. If your application is not approved, you will also be notified. Applicants who have been rejected may submit a revised application whenever they would like to.

TABIP Africa Fellowship

TABIP is planning to make students that continue their education in the cooperated universities in the African countries and that have the required qualifications a part of its scholarship program. If you are an undergraduate, graduate or doctorate student in one of the cooperated universities, apply now. African scholarship offers 100 USD monthly to 5 people for 10 months. If you are one of the scholarship holders, you will be expected to support TABIP in events held within TABIP and to contribute to our Institute and TABIP in your country.

The applicants must provide the following required documents via e-mail.

1. To be a citizen of the country of residence

2. To be an undergraduate, graduate or doctorate student in one of the cooperated universities

3. To be between 20-35 years old

4. To have a proficiency in English and want to learn Turkish (a second language proficiency is a reason for preference)

5. To follow academic and scientific developments in the world and in the region

6. To have a strong sense of communication

7. To be active in university clubs

8. To not to have a travel restriction
