TSA Visited The Rector of İstanbul Technical University

On the third day of the TABIP Science Summer School (TSA), under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey and conducted by the Yunus Emre Institute, attended the Faculty of Aeronautics and Astronautics at İstanbul Technical University.

The participants took lectures about “Programming and Control Theories” from leading academicians and had the opportunity to observe the prototype of the helicopter, modeled on the operating principle.

Following the presentation by academicians, working groups were created to give participants a unique experience in drone programming and making them fly.

At the end of the day, the Rector of İstanbul Technical University Prof. Dr. Mehmet Karaca accepted participants and the TABIP team in his office and made consultations about the university and possible collaborations.

In his speech, İTU Rector Prof.Dr. Mehmet Karaca emphasized the international appearance of İTU.

He talked about the success of İTU student project teams in international competitions and the work of the students preparing for Teknofest 2019.

Karaca invited the students from the summer school program to graduate programs of İTU and thanked Yunus Emre Institute and TABIP Science Summer School Coordinators for their visit.

TABIP Science Summer School (TSA) will continue until July 26 in İstanbul and the program will continue with Kayseri, Nevşehir, and Ankara respectively.
